Diamond Earns Two Key Re-election Endorsements

ANNVILLE, 03/29/16 – Republican State Representative Russ Diamond recently received two key endorsements for re-election. The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation and the Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors have stated their support for the Annville businessman's retention as the Representative in the General Assembly for the 102nd District.

In an endorsement letter written in early March, the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation thanked Diamond for his "commitment to helping to restore protection for human life." The freshman legislator is a member of the General Assembly's Pro-Life Caucus, and has co-sponsored several bills to protect the unborn.

"You have clearly demonstrated yourself as a strong defender of the open shop philosophy and a believer in free enterprise," said ABC Keystone President-CEO Kate McCaslin in an endorsement letter dated March 18. As a long-time business owner, Diamond understands that policies such as forced unionism and prevailing wage laws are costing taxpayers too much.

"I'm honored to have these organizations express their confidence in my performance, as they represent views that most residents of the 102nd District share. I will never make excuses for being one hundred percent pro-life or for taking a stand for the free market enterprise system. These aren't just Republican values, they're Lebanon County values," said Diamond.

The primary election will be held on April 26. The 102nd District includes Annville, Bethel, Cold Spring, Heidelberg, Jackson, Millcreek, North Lebanon, South Lebanon, Swatara, Union and West Lebanon townships and the boroughs of Cleona, Jonestown, Myerstown and Richland.
